Charlotte Marie Parker
June 9, 1962 – January 13, 2019

Charlotte Marie Parker, 56, of Rustburg, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 13, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital, due to Wilson’s disease. She was the devoted wife of Charles Clayton Parker, III for thirty years.
Born June 9, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Price, Sr. and the late Diane R. Price and was also preceded in death by a step-son, Jonathan Parker. Mrs. Parker was a former employee of Genworth.
In addition to her husband, Charlotte is survived by three children, Robin Evans of North Carolina, Joshua Parker, and Christina Sidie and husband David, all of Rustburg; a step-son, Elijah Parker of Chesapeake; one brother, James Price, Jr. and a sister, Judy Wheeler and husband Robert, all of Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Charlotte‘s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Interment will follow at Tree of Life Cemetery in Altavista.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
