Born in Kansas City, MO., she was a daughter of the late Howard Leslie McMinn and Beulah Mae Adcock McMinn. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston.
She is survived by two sisters, Karen Stimmel and her husband Henry of Lynchburg and Peggy Murphy and her husband Matt of Kansas City, MO; three brothers, Clifton Schoonhoven of Ferreston, IL, Howard McMinn of Forreston, IL and Michael Weaver of Pecatonica, IL and a special neqhew, James McMinn of Lynchburg.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 4:30 p.m.
