Born on May 30 in Michigan, Christina was the daughter of the late Michael Settles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Freeman.
Christina will be remembered most for the love she had for her family, especially her three children, whom she raised as a devoted single mother. She was a wonderful mother whose greatest joy in life was caring for and supporting her children.
Christina was known for her infectious laughter, genuine kindness, gentle spirit, and generous heart. She had a way of making others feel welcomed and cared for, and her sweetness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She cherished her family deeply and shared an especially close bond with her mother and sister, whose love and support meant so much throughout her life.
She is survived by her three beloved children, Inara Freeman, Athena Freeman, and Atticus Freeman; her mother, Linda Zeboskey (Dennis); her sister, Bethany Rose Brown (Justin Drummond); her stepbrother, Johnny Zeboskey; her stepsister, Amy Ratliff; her nephew, Mikhail Brown; her niece, Aria Brown; her grandmother, Frances Settles; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m., with a reception immediately following the service.
