Born on March 18, 1956 in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Rosalie Lewis.
Connie was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a Professor when she accepted a job at Liberty University. Connie enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Steven, Connie is also survived by a daughter, Maria McDonald.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Gary Vernon officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be private.
