Born on July 5, 1955 in Warrington, NC she was the daughter of Charles M. Elders, Jr. and the late Juanita Elders.
Cynthia retired as a truck driver and was a member of Jordan Baptist church. She loved to cook and collect cookbooks.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wayne Elders.
Left to cherish her memory is her father, Charles Elders, Jr.; brother, Charles Elders, III and wife Terry of Opelika, AL; sister, Charlene Nicks of Lynchburg; nieces and nephew, Joy Tyree and husband Will, Rebecca Nicks, Anthony Elders and wife Sandy, and Wayne Elders; great nieces and nephews, Allie Tyree, Anderson Tyree, Ian Elders, and Nathan Elders.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Presbyterian Cemetery with Pastor Melvin Campbell officiating.
