Born August 1, 1935 in West Liberty, KY, he was the son of the late Buford S. and Mae Payton Smallwood and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Wells and Donald Wells. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat s fan. Mr. Wells was a retired Electrical Engineer retired with G.E. / Ericcson .
In addition to his wife, Mr. Wells is survived by his daughter, Vandy Wells Belbin and husband Ronald of Yorktown, VA; two grandchildren, Shelby Belbin and Brett Belbin and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be held in West Liberty, KY under the direction of Potters Funeral Home, (606-743-3105).
