Danny Ray Brooks, Sr., 70, of Rustburg, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Born on August 1, 1954 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Ronald F. and Thelma V. Brooks.
Affectionately known around Lynchburg as “Big Dog”, Danny spent over 15 years as a salesman at Harley Davidson in Lynchburg. He loved riding Harley motorcycles and spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Brooks; his children, Randy Brooks, Wendy Diaz, Danny Brooks, Jr., Libby Brooks, Joshua Brooks, Jason Payne, Erin Pillow, Sean Brooks; two brothers, Charles Brooks and Duane Waterstraat; 16 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time.
