Born December 27, 1946 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Harris and Alice Parker Hall and was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hall. Danny was a retired Shift Manager with BGF in Altavista and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by his daughters, Tracy H. Burrell and husband Geoffrey and Dana H. Schlemmer and husband Mark, both of Lynchburg; his son, Bo Hall and wife Christina, also of Lynchburg; three brothers, Michael Hall and wife Sharon, Johnny Hall and wife Delores, and Randy Hall and wife Sandy, all of Evington; a sister, Alice Faye Worley and husband Jimmie of Rustburg; a sister-in-law, Veronica Hall of Evington; seven grandchildren, Andrew and Harris Jones, Haden and Hannah Schlemmer, and Lila, Laney, and Lydia Hall and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Charles Schooler, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at the residence.
Due to Covid-19, safety protocols will be followed. For everyone’s safety, please wear a mask, maintain social distancing at all services, and a limited number of people will be allowed in the visitation room at a time.
