Born in Lynchburg on August 14, 1958 he was a son of the late Earl Almond and Edith Almond.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Redman and her husband Luther of Madison Heights and Pamela Moreland and her husband Chris of Lynchburg; and 15 grandchildren that he adored.
