Dr. Randlett's Hymnology class was one of my favorites in college - I still have my notes. His cheery smile and optimism will be missed here on earth.

Just found out about David's passing. Just recently, needed to call David to ask about some music that the Old Time Gospel Hour choir did years ago. One of the local churches here is still using some of the music and David was kind enough to help us out. Fond memories of LU Bookstore and working with MJ. My heart goes out to you and your family. David leaves a lasting legacy. Ruth Joiner Story, Harrington, De.

It has been many years since I knew David and M.J. in Nashville. They were such a blessing to our church and to our family. David was such a wonderful choir director, and the training served me well when I went to college.

Please know that we are remembering your family in our prayers.
