Debra Hargis Doss

Debra Hargis Doss, 56, of Rustburg, died, Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Glenn Michael Doss. Born February 5, 1956, in Jacksonville, FL, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Ellis Hargis and the late Mary Constance Lucianno Hargis.

Debra was a homemaker, as well as, a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Debra was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Dalton.

In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her daughter, Dominique Dalton and her husband Jimmy Fuller of Rustburg; one sister, Robbie Harrell of Hartford, NC; four brothers, Michael Hargis and his wife Sue of Madison Heights, Gary Hargis of Lynchburg, Jerry Hargis and his wife Lori of Rustburg and Melvin Hargis, Jr. and his wife Trish of Lynchburg; two grandsons, Daniel Seers and Hunter Fuller; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor David Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence.
