Delores Vaughan Seamster

Born on April 26, 1954 in Victoria, she was the daughter of the late Sterling Lewis Vaughan and the late Mabel Harvey Vaughan. Delores retired from Central Virginia Training Center and enjoyed meeting new people and playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tony Vaughan.

Delores is survived by her husband, Robert Seamster; her children, Deborah Ann Seamster, Lewis Michael Seamster, Thomas Edward Seamster, and Robert G. Seamster, Jr.; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Sterling Lewis Vaughan, Jr. and wife Dorothy, Michael Vaughan and wife Barbara, and Terry Vaughan and wife Vicky; sisters, Deborah Vaughan and wife Beverly and Patricia Cyrus and husband Glenn.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Pastor Tom Pascone officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
