Denise Hubbard Derbin

Born on March 11, 1933, in Madison Heights, Denise was the daughter of the late Forest V. Hubbard and the late Lelia P. Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Derbin.

Denise was huge Hillcats fan and loved baseball. She also enjoyed gardening earlier in life. Above all church was her life. Denise was loved dearly and she will be greatly missed.

Denise is survived by two daughters, Lisa Derbin-Mann (Brian) and Lorie Derbin Graham; two sisters, Joyce Griner (Charlie), and Lois Layne (Bill); one granddaughter, Hannah L. Graham.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor David Turner officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
