Dennis Christopher Morrison

Born in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Thomas Banker Morrison and Margaret Ryan Morrison Schure. He was the retired owner and operator of Tradesmen Plus Inc. and was a member of Rustburg United Methodist Church. Dennis was also a member of The Haven where he served as vice president from 2008 – 2012.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step father, Nate Schure.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Blake N. Morrison and Logan C. Morrison both of Rustburg; two step-children, Stephanie Dabbs of Madison Heights and Jayson S. Adcock and his fiancé Crystal of Lynchburg; four brothers, Steve Schure and wife Cathy, Joe Schure and wife Lori, David Schure and Thomas Morrison; one sister, Maureen Willette and husband Steve and Colby R. Hudson of Rustburg whom he has loved as a son. He is also survived by three grandchildren who knew him as Yee Haw-Pa Paw, Chunk, Goob and Princess.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Rustburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Liz Ecklund officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 3:30 p.m.
