I have known Dennis for a very long time. He was a top notch Heating & Air man and I called on him often to rescue me from the cold or heat because my unit would stop on me ! He was always there in a flash with a smile and a joke or two ! What a joy it was to know this sweet, hard working man. I know over the past few years he has suffered many set backs with his health problems which kept him from living the life he would have wanted to live. Now he can kick up his heels in heaven with no more pain. You will be greatly missed ! Rest in peace now my friend.

It’s still so hard to believe your gone ,we just talked two weeks ago and you asked me to sit on the dock at smith mountain and relax and think about you because you knew how beautiful it was and would love to be there and I did that for you. We talked so many times and I know you was missing momma and gramma a lot lately and now your there to give my mamma that hug you promised to give her for me and to rejoice with all the family and best of all you are with Jesus playing that music while the angels sing.we have so many memories of you from so long ago like playing hide and seek on watts street ,developing pictures in the basement and that to me was so cool back then. You riding me in your car .I remember you letting me live with ya when I had nowhere to go . I also am going to miss those big happy smiles on your face when I cooked spam and hamburgers for you when I made all those grocery store runs .You my uncle will be missed by me and so many more but we all know your happy and rejoicing with the lord and our family .Love and miss you .

Dennis,
Having you as a uncle was so cool I loved when you would play your electric guitar you would make it walk . You were one of the best musicians I know. Had God not wanted you and loved you there’s no doubt fame and fortune would have found you. I’m so glad you’re in no more pain and you have sat at Jesus feet . You have hugged your mom and dad and my mom and your daughter. I love you and will often think of you . Until we meet again ❤️

I have so many childhood memories spent in the summers at Dennis’s house when we were kids. Dennis taught me how to eat a potato chip sandwich and how good it was 🥰. we’d sit out on the glider on the front porch and compare stories of the Yankee versus Southerners and play argue over which one was right. one of my favorite arguments was who really had the accent, Patty and me or Dennis. I always loved to hear Dennis and the whole family play their instruments and sing. Then they would all come up to our house and spend a week once a year. I remember the year all of us kids got mumps at our house in Ohio and we were all sick and when Dennis went home he had a bandanna tied under his chin up to the top of his head to keep the mumps from falling (I had no idea what that meant.) I have many wonderful memories and I will see you again someday. Tell our loved ones and my husband we will see them soon but we’re doing fine. Love you Cuz. 🥰❤️
