

Dieter's journey began in Hanover, Germany, where he was born and raised. In 1958, he embarked on a ship to the United States, where he would ultimately meet the love of his life, Barbara Ann. Together, they created a beautiful life in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and started a loving family. As superintendent of Brewster Plastics, when the company moved to Virginia in 1982, Dieter and his family followed.
Dieter will be deeply missed by his daughter, Laurie Grosvenor (Emery), his son, Dieter Wiesner Jr. (Stephanie), and his cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Mandi, Josh, Chelsea, Justin, as well as his six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara.
In his free time, Dieter had a passion for boating, classic cars, motorcycles, and anything with an engine. He had a knack for tinkering with electronics and could fix anything that came his way. His expertise and love for these hobbies brought him immense joy throughout his life.
The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Whitten, located in Lynchburg, Virginia. The staff at Whitten will provide compassionate assistance to ensure a respectful and meaningful farewell for Dieter.
Dieter Heinz Wiesner will be remembered for his infectious boyish grin, his love for his family, and his ability to bring life to anything mechanical. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
