Dora was born on August 16, 1932 in Bedford, Virginia and was the daughter of the late John and Hermie Boothe.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bedford.
She is survived by her daughter Terry Mayberry and husband Patrick; one granddaughter, Cheyanne N. Mayberry; and one brother, Clarence Boothe.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Montvale Family Cemetery, 1276 Mountain Trail, Thaxton, VA.
