Born June 10, 1957 Eddie was known for his deep love of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed watching races and had a fondness for bluegrass music. He was a member of Keystone Baptist Church. Eddie participated in several mission trips to Jamaica. Well-known for his skills in drywall finishing, which he excelled in. His love of carpentry and construction was displayed in his craftsmanship and dedication to his work. Eddie will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his sister Delois Washburn.
Those left to cherish Eddie’s memory include his children Nathan Washburn and his wife Stefanie of Evington, VA, Jessica Wills and her husband Devon of Godley, Texas; his sister Teresa Washburn of Forest, VA; his grandchildren Kaily, Kaiden, Emery, DJ and Kainan; and his niece Maria Washburn of Forest, VA.
A Memorial Service for Eddie will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 3pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel officiated by Dr. Monty Fox. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
