Born in Lynchburg, November 25, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Paul Drew Norris and Florence Russell Norris.
One sister, Annie Mae Benson preceded her in death.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Barbara W. Millner and her husband Darrell of Reston; her son, David B. Wood and his wife Patricia Fitzsimmons of Goode; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Edna was a 1945 graduate of E.C. Glass High School and attended Lynchburg College. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, sewing and oil painting.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Campbell County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 4123, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
