Edward Carroll Fulcher

Born April 12, 1940 in Tye River, he was the son of the late Noel Thornton Fulcher and the late Dorothy Cash Fulcher Peery and was also preceded in death by a brother, Buddy C. Fulcher. Mr. Fulcher was retired from Limitorque Corp. and was a U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Mr. Fulcher devoted twenty years of his life coaching Little League football and baseball for the city of Lynchburg, touching so many lives in the process.

Mr. Fulcher is survived by two sons, David Fulcher and wife Donna of St. Augustine, FL and John Fulcher and wife Monica of Stafford; one daughter, Tamara P. Bolling and husband Darren of Lynchburg; two brothers, Noel Fulcher and wife Mary of Amherst and Ronald Fulcher and wife Brenda of Gum Springs; a sister, Betty Greiner, also of Gum Springs; thirteen grand-children and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

Interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
