

On February 20, 2016, our precious mother and grandmother entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Bedford County on April 30, 1936 to her late parents, William Clay and Elizabeth Goff. She was a lifetime member of Central Baptist Church in Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Josh Campbell, son Curtis Allen Campbell and grandson, Cody Allen Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, William Clay Goff, Jr., Calvin Curtis Goff and John Lewis Goff.
She is survived by her four children, Jay Campbell and wife Melissa of Goode, Shirley Campbell of Evington, James Campbell of Goode and Angela Mays of Bedford. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Victoria Lauren Campbell, Nicholas Jay Campbell and J.W. Mays. She is survived by a special family friend, Carol Zimmerman and two sisters-in-law, Betty Goff of Madison Heights and Della Humphries of Amherst. She is also survived by a special niece, Joyce Newman, special cousin, Edith Padgett and numerous family member and friends.
A funeral will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Sedalia Baptist Church Cemetery in Big Island.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence of Jay and Melissa Campbell.
