He was born October 14, 1933 in Amherst County, VA, son of the late Charlie Ashton Ware and Mary Williams Ware.
Wade loved fishing and hunting. He loved coaching sports with his daughters. He also loved spending time in the yard planting and weeding. He loved reminiscing about times past. He loved old western movies and had a great love for his family. And for those who knew him, he loved his dog Tasha.
Those left to cherish Wade's memory include his beloved wife Corena Jackson Ware; his daughters Tina Ware Lawson and her husband Tim, Debra Ware Sellick and her husband John; his grandchildren Chris Schmitt, Tyler Lawson, Austin Sellick; and his great-grandchildren Chloe Schmitt and Quinn Schmitt.
Wade is also survived by his siblings Lucy Lawless, Louise Wood, Doris Dalton Rosa Brunner and Arlene Campbell.
A celebration of life service for Wade will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11am at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with interment to follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends the night prior, Thursday February 6, 2025 from 6-8pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
