Ethan Oak LaFleur

Ethan Oak LaFleur, 19 of Lynchburg and formerly of Avon, MN, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017. Born in St. Cloud, MN, July 4 1997, he was the son Michael O. LaFleur and Christina Holl LaFleur. In addition to his parents Ethan is survived by his brother, Ezra Winter LaFleur and his Aunt, Bonnie LaFleur. While growing up, Ethan was active in ministry having served in St. Johns Boys Choir in Collegeville, Minnesota, the Youth Chorale of central Minnesota and the Lutheran Youth Choir of North America. From the age of 3 Ethan knew he wanted to become a pilot and he had just completed his second year at the Liberty University School of Aeronautics, having earned his private pilot’s license and instrument rating. A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the Prayer Chapel of Liberty University. Interment will follow in the Tree of Life Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ethan LaFleur Memorial Fund, C/O Liberty University School of Aeronautics, 1971 University Blvd., Lynchburg, VA 24515.
