Eunice Jennings Elliott

Eunice Jennings Elliott, 84, of Owings, MD, died, Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Richard Byron Elliott. Born February 2, 1926, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late James David Jennings and Addie Brassell Jennings.

Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by six children, Richard Byron Elliott, Jr. of St. Leonard, MD, Michael Ralph Elliott, Sr. and his wife Gwen of Lothian, MD, Brenda Kay Welsh and her husband Richard of Owings, MD, Daniel Massie Elliott, Sr. and his wife Stacia of West Virginia, Garry Douglas Elliott of Huntingtown, MD and Stephen Wayne Elliott also of Huntingtown, MD; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Rev. David Heerspink. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
