Eva Caldwell Moorefield

Eva Caldwell Moorefield, 71, of Rustburg, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born January 3, 1950, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Dora Caldwell. Eva was retired from Ericsson-GE and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Coleman Moorefield, her sister, Brenda Joyce Rosser, and granddaughter, Zoe Frances Pratt. Eva is survived by her daughter Shannon Moorefield Pratt and husband Jesse; grandson Army Specialist Logan Taylor Pratt, wife Yanelly, and great-grandson Stanley Taylor Pratt; grandson Layne Coleman Pratt; brother Barney Caldwell and wife Mary; sister Pearl Douglas; and numerous family members. A memorial service will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church, 2772 Bethany Road in Rustburg on Saturday, September 18th at 10:30am.
