Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Moishe Newman and the late Pearl Zweigaft Newman.
Evelyn was the retired owner of Raflo’s Clothing Store and a member of Temple Israel.
She is survived by her son, Gary Raflo and his wife, Joyce LiBethe of Charlotte, N.C.; her daughter, Linda R. Raford and her husband, Paul of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Noah Raford and his wife, Aurelia, Jared Raford, Amanda Hinnant and her husband, Ray and Alia Raford, and two great grandchildren, Teo Raford and Evie Raford.
