Franklin Clark Woody

Born October 21, 1948 in Madison Heights, he was the son of the late Cary Randolph Woody and the late Virginia McCormick Woody. Mr. Woody was a retired sales clerk with Advance Auto and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Rhonda G. Woody of Los Angeles, CA and Danny Newton and wife Michele of Madison Heights; three brothers and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Jacob Uthup officiating. Interment with military honors by American Legion Post 16 will follow at Meade Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
