Gary was a hardworking man who believed in hard work and took pride in everything he did. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and contagious sense of humor. Whether he was making people laugh, firing up the grill to cookout, or spending a peaceful day fishing, Gary found joy in life's simple pleasures and in sharing them with the people he loved.
In his younger years, Gary would be the first to admit he could be a bit of a troublemaker. But he proved that a person's past does not define their future. Through determination, resilience, and heart, he turned his life around and rebuilt himself into a man his family and friends could be proud. His story was one of growth, redemption, and perseverance.
Gary was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Angela Marie Turner and his Mother, Linda Lowden-Turner.
He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughter, Ashley Lynn Turner; his cherished grandchildren, Julianna Turner, Sophia Mondragon, and Caleb Leo Mondragon; his loving fiancée, Debra Turzi; Michele Dunkle, mother of his children and best friend; his father, Claude "Bud" Turner; his brother, Claude Lloyd Turner, Jr.; his nephew, Claude Lloyd Turner, III; along with many extended family members and countless friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Gary's laughter, kindness, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten. The stories he shared around the grill, the quiet moments spent by the water with a fishing pole in hand, and the love he gave to those closest to him will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy remains in the lives he touched, the family he loved, and the memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Rest easy, Gary. May the fish always be biting, the grill always be hot, and your spirit forever be at peace. And please give our girl Angie a great big hug from her Mom
"Your life was not measured by the mistakes you made, but by the strength you found to rise above them and the love you left behind."
