Born December 22, 1926 in Bedford County, he was the son of the late John Albert and Lucille Feagans Seay Reynolds. Mr. Seay was retired from Barker-Jennings and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Mr. Seay is survived by two sons, George W. Seay and wife Charlotte of Bumpass and James A. Seay and wife Kimberly of Moseley; one brother; six sisters; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Rev. Dennis Hollingsworth officiating. Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Fort Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
