Gladys Millner Harris

Born May 8, 1926 in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Alex Columbia Millner and Louhana Robey Millner and was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Harris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was a member of Timberlake Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by two daughters, Betty H. Allen and husband Robert of Lynchburg and Nancy Bomar-Martin and husband Wayne of Concord; five grandchildren, Robbie Allen, Douglas Allen and wife Brandi, Marie Phillips and husband Jon, Tyke Bomar, and Troy Bomar and wife Amber and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Richard Jett officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Betty and Robert.
