Gloria Ann Camden

Born August 18, 1947 Gloria embraced each day with warmth and enthusiasm. She loved spending time at the Moose Lodge, where she found fun and a sense of community while trying her luck on the slot machines. Beyond these moments of excitement, Gloria’s greatest happiness came from her family. She would do anything for those she loved, always putting their needs first and offering a listening ear or a helping hand whenever it was needed. Gloria was the kind of person you could rely on, with a heart big enough to comfort anyone who came to her. Her kindness, generosity, and loving nature will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents Gloria was preceded in passing by her husband Charles Dean Camden, Sr.; and her siblings Phil Harris and Nanny Crawford.

Those left to cherish Gloria’s memory include her children Delores Arrington and her husband Melvin, Harry Camden, Charles Camden, Jr. and his wife Tina; her grandchildren Cirstin Hendricks and her husband Josh, Amanda Bryant and her husband Trevor, Jeremy Vest, Andrew Martin, Chelsea Arrington, Chloe Arrington, Levi Camden; her great-grandchildren Ellie Hendrick, Amelia Bryant; her siblings Walter Harris, Jimmy Harris, Francis Swain, Jesse Harris and his wife Terry; her brother in law Carl Camden and his wife Kay, and a slew of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11am at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, officiated by Polly Starnes. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
