H. Warren Middleton Jr.

H. Warren Middleton, Jr., 90, of Westminster Canterbury, passed away March 5, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Catherine Gilsdorf Middleton. Born in Paducah, Kentucky, February 27, 1928, he was the son of the late Henry W. Middleton and Clover Coleman Middleton. Warren proudly served his country in the US Army and was retired from General Electric after 29 years of service. Warren was a member of the Exchange Club of Lynchburg and ELFUN volunteers. He was a founding member of Forest Presbyterian Church and currently a member of First Presbyterian Church. His other interests include amateur radio, railroads and photography. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter Cynthia Villareal. A service of witness to the Resurrection will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Weissert Chapel at Westminster Canterbury. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Grandview Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westminster Canterbury Fellowship fund, 501 V.E.S Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24503 or First Presbyterian Church 1215 V.E.S. Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24503.
