Hattie Elizabeth Cobb Culler

Born April 4, 1933 in Buckingham County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Pauline D. Cobb and was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Liz is survived by her devoted and caring brother and sister-in-law, Eugene “Gene” and Barbara S. Cobb. Also left to cherish her memory are a special niece, Karen Jones and her great nieces and nephews and their children who she adored, Jeremy Jones and Joy Brown (McKenzie), Ashleigh and Addison Lineberry (Nathan, Parker, Jackson, and Aubrey), and Amber and Joey Rogers (Madison).

Liz is also survived by a sister, Evaleen Bryant; step daughter, Shirley Wooldridge, and four step grandchildren, J.D. Vance, Jr., Wanda Jordan, Mark Vance, and Teresa McCallahan.

Liz’s family wishes to express gratitude to her caregivers, Diane Monroe, Gentle Shepherd and Seven Hills Hospice.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
