Hazel E. Threatt-Gauldin

Born in Durmit, VA, July 10, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Claude Cecil Roach and Ora Damon Almond Roach. She was retired from G.E. and was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Stitham of Forest, Glenda Shoemaker of Rustburg, Faye Loflin and her husband Mike of Forest and Kim Threatt-Venner and her husband Jim of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Lisa Elliott and her husband Mark of Forest, Rhonda Stitham of New York, NY, Holly Stitham of Virginia Beach; Amy Richmond and her husband Michael of Roanoke and Ryson Owens of Virginia Beach and six great grandchildren, Kensley Elliott, Keyton Elliott, Nicholas Richmond, Lillian Richmond, Grace Lyons-Stitham and Grant Lyons-Stitham.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
