Helen M. Worsham

Helen Maude Worsham, 69, of Lynchburg, passed away, Friday, December 13, 2013, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of William Carter Worsham. Born February 19, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Allen Stetzer and the late Helen Elizabeth Daniels Stetzer.

Helen was a homemaker, and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by two daughters, Lisa Burch and her husband Robert of Austin, TX and Lori Fleming and her husband Matthew of Lynchburg; two sisters, Carole Sue Manning and her husband Terry of LaVerne, CA and Ruth Honnas and her husband Richard of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Ernest (Buddy) Stetzer and his wife Margaret (Doll) of Baltimore, MD; and four grandchildren, Callie Burch, Macy Burch, Evan Fleming and Amelia Fleming; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Thomas Road Baptist Church-Pate Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Falwell. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest, VA.

The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
