Hilda Evans Russell Lloyd

Born in Lynchburg, Virginia she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Nannie Mae Kidd Evans. She retired from Central Virginia Training Center.

She is also preceded in death by a son, John R. Russell and his wife, Doris Ann; a daughter, Joyce Ann Lloyd; sisters, Ethel E. Deacon, Helen Tweedy; brothers, Robert and Corbin Evans; grandchild, Jonathan Russell and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Rosser L. Russell, Sr. and wife, Sherry C., Anthony F. Lloyd, Jr. and wife, Juanita; brother, Calvin B. Evans; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren with one little angel on the way; and special niece Sharon Brooks and her husband, Ray.

A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel conducted by the Rev. Larry Fitzgerald, Rev. Jeff Whitt and Rev. JoAnn Newman. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at her residence.
