
Born in Lynchburg on January 21, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Lee Parker and Nancy Staton Parker.
Holly retired as Vice President of Mid-State Insurance Agency after 22 years of dedicated service. She was known for her strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in all that she did. Throughout her career, she earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Above all, Holly was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her love, kindness, and unwavering support will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Parker Chad Ross of Lynchburg; three siblings, Brenda Goodwin-Garrett, Michael Parker (Lora), and Jennifer Parker Goff; her companion of 15 years, Berkley Cannaday; six grandchildren, Landon Ross, Jaclyn Ross, Sydni Ross, Laynie Ross, Caid Ross, and Jaylee Prosser; and two cousins who were also her lifelong best friends, Robert Edwards, Jr. and Nancy Edwards Winston.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, at Fort Hill Memorial Park, with Pastor Wyatt Cudd officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
