Born September 5, 1956 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Lewis Cleveland Milton and Alice Marie Goff Whitehead.
Howard was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Howard is survived by two daughters, Cassie Markham and her husband L.T. of Big Island and Crystal Bickford and her husband Chad of Mebane, NC; two brothers, Barry Milton and his wife, Linda of Evington and Larry Milton of Madison Heights; one sister, Kathy Ruff of Bedford; and five grandchildren, Hayley and Trace Markham, Hannah and Nolan McFadden and Keira Bickford.
The family will receive friends, 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and at other times at the residence of Barry Milton.
