Born on September 25, 1931 in Buena Vista, he was the son of the late Hugh Carrick Copper, Sr. and Bertie C. Copper. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Stinnette.
He is survived by his beloved niece, Linda Hawks and her husband David of Forest. Hugh loved his church and his family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2231 S. Amherst Hwy, Amherst, VA 24521.
