Iola Duval Phillips

Born on September 16, 1928 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Mabel S. Duval. Sissy was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and was an avid reader.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Buck Duval.

Sissy is survived by her two daughters, Loretta Phillips and Bonnie Phillips; two granddaughters, Megan and Lauren Sprouse; one great grandson, Korbin Olinger; and her sister, Patsy Tyree.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Cemetery.
