Janie
So sorry Bill and I can not be there family night or the day of funeral. Family appointments got in the way. Bill and I are thinking of you though. You and the family are in our prayers. James was such a wonderful person and may the wonderful memories help you through the tough times.
God Bless.

I am sending my love and sympathy to you Janie and all the family as we join you from Texas. I am glad we can participate online.
One of my favorite memories of James is his hearty appetite and appreciation for good food. Growing up a country boy in Virginia did not deter him from enjoying Indian food, (which we made for you all when you visited Houston) or Thai food, which we enjoyed in Flagstaff on our way to Boulder Utah for Thanksgiving. ( Although he thought it was a Mexican lunch, which we really tested him about!) No matter, his joy in growing and eating good food was a pleasure we all shared with him, and his appreciation for the cook was well received.

Janie and family,
I am so sorry to hear of James's passing. He was a wonderful Godly man. We used to have so much fun at the church softball games. James was quite the pitcher for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hold tight to your faith knowing that one day you will see him again in Heaven. Love and miss you all.
