Born July 2, 1957 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Amy Ruble Wright of Bedford and the late Clarence Roger Wright, Jr. She was an employee of CVS Pharmacy and was a member of the former Park View United Methodist Church.
Janet is survived by three sons, Jason D. Tomlinson of Rustburg, Brandon R. Tomlinson , and Daniel R. Tomlinson, both of Lynchburg; one brother, Clarence Roger Wright, III of Lynchburg and fiancée, Sharon Staton; two sisters, Jennie W. Spradlin and husband Tony of Bedford and Brenda W. Tomlinson of Lynchburg and three grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Ariel Tomlinson, and Caden Tomlinson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. David Smeltz officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2013 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
