My sympathies to the family & friends of Jay...especially to Julie.

I have Jay to thank for the opportunity to work in the commercial flooring industry as a Regional VP of Sales. He hired me to work for him at Gammapar & Permagrain (now Nydree Flooring).

Jay was an enthusiastic guy & he was always so loving toward Julie. I have many fond memories of company dinners & events; Jay was always a generous host. He & I shared many good times...he will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Jay's passing. As a fellow Board member at Izaak Walton, I know he was a dedicated sportsman and one of a few willing to step into one of our low pay(none !) leadership positions for a term. We had many spirited discussions, but he was someone you could disagree with agreeably !
