Jeanette Bryant Braford, beloved wife of William "Bill" Braford, peacefully passed away on January 20, 2024. Born on July 29, 1955 in Lynchburg Virginia, she lived a life filled with love, joy, and meaningful connections.
Jeanette dedicated years of service and passion to her community, retiring from the Central Virginia Training Center. Her retirement allowed her to indulge in her favorite activities, including cooking, tending to her flower beds, and, most notably, riding motorcycles—a true expression of her adventurous spirit.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lynchburg, Virginia, Jeanette found solace and community in her faith. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Braford, her sons Douglas Braford and Timmy Cash, and her cherished daughter-in-law Sandra. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and love that will forever be cherished.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Church of Latter Day Saints on 110 Melinda Drive in Lynchburg, Virginia on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, with the service following at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at Braford Family Cemetery in Natural Bridge Station, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.mda.org) and St. Jude's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)—a meaningful way to honor Jeanette's memory and support causes close to her heart.
