Born March 20, 1963 in Lynchburg he was the son of the late Norman Trent and Mary Ann Trent.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Kenny Benard, Jr. of Lynchburg, Mark Benard and his wife, Stephanie of Lynchburg, Jason Benard and his wife, Marsha of Lynchburg, Jeffrey Trent, Jr. and Angela Trent both of New Hampshire, and Raymond McFadden III of Lynchburg; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
