Christopher and Vanessa,
My girlfriend and I lived next door to your dad way before you were born. He was so funny the way he would toss out seed to attract different species of wild birds, duck, etc. We were in townhouses in Richmond with individual enclosed yards. It was quite exciting to view this and then to see the finished masterpieces!
I'm sorry for your loss. God Bless!

Chris
We have several of his paintings and he did my portrait many years ago. I knew him as a classmate from VMI and as a friend.
We are sorry for your loss.

Dear Chris,
I knew your father well. He painted a portrait of me when I was in the 7th grade and a beautiful portrait of my sister when she was 5 years old. He was a friend to me, my sister, Blair and my mother, Nell Holston. He had a unique and large personality, to say the least. I'm sorry for your loss.

All the best,

Berkley Holston
