She was born on December 18, 1936, in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Irene Gravitt.
Josephine is survived by her six children: Debra Kay Snow of Lynchburg, Patricia Lynn Chryssikos of Bedford, Dana Lee Hudson of Concord, Mary Jo Glover of Rustburg, Jan Elizabeth Snow of Rustburg, and Tom Snow of Raleigh, NC; her three sisters: Marlene Polge, Elizabeth Creno both of Syracuse, NY, and Nan Loats of California; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 6:00 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
