Judith Harris Garrett

Born on September 9, 1942 in Lynchburg, Judith was the daughter of the late Lawrence Benjamin Harris and the late Mary Walker Harris.

Judith was preceded in death by her two siblings; her sister Beverly Leckie and brother Fred Harris.

She was a long time member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church and former employee at Foster Electric. Judith was all about her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her women’s group at church, going on trips, and baking fruit cakes. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Preston D. Garrett and her son, Shane Garrett (Louise).

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at West Lynchburg Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm prior to the service.
