OBITUARY

Judith Reynolds Lovelace

July 10, 1950 – March 30, 2025
Obituary of Judith Reynolds Lovelace
IN THE CARE OF

Whitten Timberlake Chapel

Judith Reynolds Lovelace, 74, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Born on July 10, 1950, in Franklin County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Reynolds and Lois B. Trent.

Judith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She spent 20 years as an Administrative Assistant at Acres of VA, Inc., where she took pride in her work and always gave her best. Her husband lovingly described her as a "good girl," a testament to her kind and caring nature.

She was a collector at heart, treasuring crackled glass, movies, and knickknacks. Antique stores and shopping trips were among her favorite pastimes, always on the lookout for a unique find. Judith took pride in her home, making it a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and cherished family dinners, where laughter and love filled the air. More than anything, she found peace in riding the back roads with her beloved husband, Phillip.

Judith will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Phillip L. Lovelace; her children, Sherry Stone (Brad), Tracy Parrish, Donald Smith Jr. (Lauren), and Cynthia Haynes (Tollie Jason); her brother, Thomas Reynolds (Pat); nine grandchildren, Joshua Stone (Melissa), Carter Stone, Cheyenne Sanders, Lacy Parrish, Courtney Smith, Thomas Smith, Raiden Schekman, Keira Schekman, and Meagan Ann Haynes; and one great-grandson, Jude Boudreaux.

Honoring her wishes, services will be private.

Judith’s love and kindness will remain in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished always.
