

Born in Lynchburg, November 15, 1962 she was the daughter of Eugene Loflin Harris and Connie Wilkerson Harris of Lynchburg. Judy was a 1980 graduate of Brookville High School and attended CVCC. She was a homemaker and formerly a Special Education Teacher in Lynchburg. She was a member of the Methodist faith and a devout Christian.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Renee Barker of Lynchburg, three sons, Timothy D. Johnson of Lynchburg, Benjamin R. Johnson of Richmond, Joseph M. Johnson of Lynchburg; two step-sons, Daniel Barker and his wife Jessica and Dillan Barker all of Farmville; one sister, Susan H. Tedder and husband Bill of Mechanicsville; one brother, Ricky L. Harris and wife Kay of Godwin, NC; two grandchildren, Colin and Cassidy Barker; her parents-in-law, Paul and Pam Barker and Barbara and Richard Wood and a number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a dear friend and Stephanie’s Godmother, April Lancaster DeShano.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Harris.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Becky Cloud and the Rev. Steve Conwell officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Virginia Memorial Park, 11490 Forest Rd., Forest, Virginia.
